Remember when the Orlando papers said Webber was coming to Disneyworld.  And when the New York papers said he wanted to play alongside his buddy Latrell.  Then Peter Vecsey came on national television and said he had it from an unimpeachable source that Webber was going to be a Rocket. There was that quick flurry of "the Spurs will waive the Admiral and Chris will join Tim in a new super-group".  Near the end he did actually talk to the Pistons and the Pacers (or at least members of his immediate family did).

Well, the Webber Watch is over.

Chris has decided that for $122.71875 million (as reported by David Aldredge) he can live with the poor food and minimal nightlife in Sacramento.  So, good luck to Chris and especially to his "negotiating team" who have kept NBA beat writers busy these past few weeks.
