Dwain Price of the Dallas Star-Telegram reports that Michael Finley has officially signed for the Dallas Mavericks for $102,265,625 over 7 years.  He will earn $10,625,000 in '01-'02 and $18,593,750 in '07-'08, the last year of the contract.



Jodie Valade of the Dallas Morning News reports that Finley, who is convinced the Mavs can contend for a title, did not even visit other teams before agreeing to return to the fold.
