In one day, the Mavs added Danny Manning and lost Calvin Booth, reports Dwain Price of the Dallas Star-Telegram. Manning signed a 2-year contract that will pay $1.5 million this year and $1.7 million next year. Meanwhile, Calvin Booth signed a 6 year, $34 million contract with the Seattle Sonics, starting this year at $4.539 million, which is $1,000 more than the Mavs could match to keep him. The Mavs will not try to clear salary to be able to match.
