From the New York Times: Kenyon Martin knew his twice-broken right leg had already healed by the middle of the summer. He no longer felt any pain, or any doubt, and during pickup games all he seemed to be seeing was the top of the rim.

"Now I can dunk," the Nets forward said with a grin.

The New York Post reports that Martin can't wait to join Jason Kidd on the floor.

For example, Nets coach Byron Scott predicted last week that Jason Kidd's arrival would mean a six-point jump in Martin's scoring. Informed of his coach's forecast, the power forward had only one thought.

"That's it?" Martin asked yesterday at the NBA Store. "I don't want to get greedy, but I'm hoping for a little more than that. You've just gotta run the floor, and he'll get you the ball."
