Omar Cook wanted to come out early and thought he would be a first round pick in a point guard thin draft. Unfortunately, no-one else saw first round talent in Cook and the Denver Nuggets got him in the second. The Rocky Mountain News is reporting that Cook and his agent, Aaron Goodwin, are none too pleased with the Nuggets management these days. Cook is hoping for a two year guaranteed contract but Denver's new GM, Kiki Vanderweghe, is saying that's not in the cards. Omar showed some passing and defensive skills in the summer leagues but shot an abysmal 20% from the field. Cook remains on simmer.
