Don Wade reports in the Memphis Commercial Appeal that Pau Gasol has not quite completed the buy-out with his Barcelona team.  Wade says the two sides reportedly had reached an agreement in principle, but the deal still has not been finalized. "They're trying to get it done, we're trying to get it done, said Grizzlies general manager Billy Knight. "I don't have a time frame."

Wade also says back-up shooting guard Nick Anderson has been working out this summer.  According to coach Sidney Lowe, "Our last conversation, he said he wanted to make sure he was in tip-top shape.  I anticipate him coming to camp ready to go."
