FLAGSTAFF - Suns forward Penny Hardaway left training camp today to undergo three days of treatment in Toronto for tendonitis behind his left knee.

Team physician Dr. Craig Phelps said the treatment is not related to the micro-fracture Hardaway suffered to the same knee last year. The treatment is available only in Canada because it has not been approved in the United States.

Hardaway, who is scheduled to return to practice on Saturday, underwent similar treatment this past summer while working out in Chicago. Hardaway said the treatment this summer proved to be effective.
