Some around the league consider Ron Mercer a selfish sort of guy, but K.C. Johnson of the Chicago reveals that Mercer is actually a very generous person who would rather help for the benefit than give for the publicity of doing so.  "I'm probably misunderstood because I'm a quiet guy," Mercer said . "I keep to myself. I don't say too much or give too much. I have a big trust factor."
