"We'll have the luxury now of moving Travis to play some off-guard," Thomas said. "I'd like to get Travis involved in more scoring situations, where he's catching and shooting, drawing the defense, penetrating and kicking.
"I just think the way he played last year, the summer he's had and the way he's playing now, he's going to play a lot for us."
Best is coming off his most productive off-season. A year ago he was hampered by shoulder surgery that severely limited his workouts leading up to the season. This summer, after being dogged by nagging injuries throughout the season -- a strained lower back, a sore left heel, pulled hamstrings and a strained groin -- he said he is in better shape than ever.
