He's not injured.  But Ronald Tillery reports in the Memphis Commercial Appeal that Nick Anderson just doesn't have much gas left in the tank.  (Well, fortunately he spares us that metaphor.)

While coach Sidney Lowe says, "We're looking for him to come in and give us something.  We just didn't make the trade for him to come here and sit on the bench."  But then again, he might just announce his retirement before the regular season begins. "I'm not going to say that's what I want to do, but I'd be lying to you if I said that wasn't a thought," Anderson said.

The Grizz pay legendary Chuck Daly $500,000 a year to help out.  Daly recommended they pick up Ike Austin last year, and was instrumental in the decision to get Anderson this summer.
