As if they needed it, the Denver Nuggets were reminded Friday how quickly anxiety can replace optimism.
Power forward Antonio McDyess was held out of practice and taken for a magnetic resonance imaging exam after complaining of a sore left knee. McDyess was listed as out indefinitely, pending results.
"It started getting sore (Thursday) morning," Nuggets coach Dan Issel said. "We hope it's nothing serious, but there's no reason to speculate right now."
