He could be smack in the middle of the NBA's biggest story right now, a bystander to greatness as a role player for His Airness. After all, Felipe Lopez spent all but two months of last season with the Washington Wizards, recently transformed by a 38-year-old's itch from abject unwatchability to the must-see team of the early season.

Yet, no offense to Michael Jordan, Lopez is fine where he is, thick into his first training camp with the Timberwolves.

"I feel comfortable here," Lopez said. "I feel this is a great situation with Minnesota. Even if I was there, I don't know if I would be as happy as I am here. So you see, it doesn't matter if you're playing with the greatest player, if you don't feel like you're being treated fair."
