According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, Moochie Norris, who signed a 6-year, $22.73 million contract yesterday, never considered playing for any other team. There were other teams interested in him as a free agent or in a sign-and-trade (including Dallas, Indiana, Portland, Denver and Detroit), but he never entertained their offers despite the urging of his agent. Realgm has to wonder how he managed to force Houston to add two years to their last offer when he essentially had no real leverage. Norris' original demand was for a 6-year, $34 million contract.
