Six weeks after toe surgery, Shaquille O'Neal was at his first practice on Thursday.  Tim Brown of the L.A. Times reports that Shaq expects to be in the line-up when the Lakers start the season against Portland.  


On the other hand, Derek Fisher and Mark Madsen are still hurting.  Neither expects to be ready to start the season.
