Mavericks guard Greg Buckner has missed so many games during his three-year NBA career because of injuries that Don Nelson couldn't help but state the obvious.
"Buck, all he was to do is stay healthy," said Nelson, the Mavericks' coach and general manager. "He's been his own worst enemy with his injuries."
Buckner shook off another injury to score 16 points, grab 10 rebounds and record two steals during Friday's 98-96 loss to the Boston Celtics in the preseason basketball christening of American Airlines Center. That comes on the heels of Thursday's performance against Houston, when Buckner finished with 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
