The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting the Golden State Warriors attempts to deflect the attention being paid to Marc Jackson's reluctant return. Warrior veterans are saying all the right things but the question will be whether Jackson is listening. Adonal Foyle and Antawn Jamison have spoken out on the issue.
"I think he will be professional about it," Foyle said. "They are giving him 20-something million dollars to play. What is there to complain about? This is how business is done in the NBA. You can't be unprofessional when people are making business decisions. This is the career you chose, and these are the consequences of your career. He needs to realize that and come to work."
"The only way it's going to affect us is if Marc goes to the newspapers, and this thing drags and lingers," Jamison said. "Once Marc gets on the floor, I think it's going to be like old times. . . . It's one of those deals where you don't want to burn bridges. You never want to give up on a relationship in the NBA."
