Aaron Williams claimed his tendinitis-stricken right knee is better. Not good, just better.
But until better becomes good, Williams will remain a major Net concern.

"This is something that can linger for three or four months," coach Byron Scott noted yesterday when he virtually handed the final roster spot to guard Derrick Dial. "Eventually, it will go away but it's something that can hamper you for long periods. Obviously, Aaron's a concern because he's one of the guys who would probably be the first one off the bench. He has experience, he's been here a year. He's one guy I'm looking forward to bringing in [to] solidify and slow down these younger guys when they do come in.
