DENVER ? The Denver Nuggets made what could be their final round of cuts of the preseason Thursday when they waived veteran forward Cedric Ceballos, rookie point guard Omar Cook and Chinese center Menghe Batere.

The moves bring Denver's roster down to 15, the maximum allowed going into the regular season, which starts Tuesday. Although the Nuggets continue to explore trades and look at the waiver wire, the way things stand currently, they in all likelihood will place Antonio McDyess (knee), Calbert Cheaney (knee) and rookie Kenny Satterfield on the injured list.
