The Timberwolves get their first test tonight in an area where they failed miserably last season.
The Wolves play at Houston tonight, their second game in a 24-hour span. The Wolves were 3-14 on the second night of back-to-backs last season. The three victories came against Atlanta, Indiana and Cleveland.
The Wolves struggled in all areas in the second night situations last season. They gave up 103.2 points and shot only 42.7 percent from the field.
The Wolves have 19 back-to-back games this season.
"On those nights when you have back-to-backs, execution is really key," Kevin Garnett said. "It's going to be a nice challenge for us. Houston is 2-0. We're 2-0. We have incredible energy right now that we have to carry over."
