TROY MURPHY posterized Dale Davis last night, then got a little too much in Davis' face for the official's liking, so he got his second technical of the game and an ejection. When he left the floor, to a mixture of cheers for his audacious act and boos for the refs, he slapped hands with the fans in the runway leading to the locker room.

It wasn't exactly a unique moment in NBA history, someone's grill getting dunked on and then talked trash to. But it did carry some significance for Murphy, the Warriors, rookies everywhere, and a race of people who have been maligned for far too long.
