One of the Hornets' priorities this offseason, besides trying to remain in Charlotte, was to get backcourt help for guards Baron Davis and David Wesley.  Enter Bryce Drew for $4M over three years.

The results thus far?  Baron Davis is averaging 42 minutes per game and David Wesley 40, while Bryce Drew has played 10 minutes total.  In those 10 minutes he has four fouls and no points, but an even worse fact is the Hornets had a cumulative nine-point scoring deficit.  Drew has been struggling defensively and looks lost on offense, forcing coach Paul Silas to have Jamal Mashburn running the team in a point forward role rather than handing the reins over to Drew.
