Ray Allen most definitely heard the emphatic chant Saturday night at the Bradley Center.
"MVP, MVP, MVP" was the way that Milwaukee Bucks fans were serenading the all-star guard during the game against the Boston Celtics.
It was music to the ears of Allen and he gave the green light Monday to the Bucks' faithful to keep it coming.
"I think it puts a target on my back," said Allen, who Monday was named the National Basketball Association's player of the week. "I already had a smaller target on my back so that adds to it. It's going to egg on who is playing me.
"But as far as the fans at the Bradley Center, they went through so much losing during the '80s and '90s, it's good to be able to cheer for something positive. You take it and run with it.
