CLEVELAND -- Father Time hasn't been an issue yet, but coach Rick Adelman's time allotment is another matter, so the Kings are already conscious of trying to limit Vlade Divac's minutes in a plan to keep him fresh for what could be the longest season in team history.

That it comes with Divac off to a very good start, with averages of 21.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and a team-leading seven assists the first three games, is an irony but also reinforces Adelman's thinking. As in, the Kings want Divac to be able to be this good in June, by which time he will have turned 34.
