Toronto -- Vince Carter was reveling in one of those zones where anything and everything he tossed up went in the basket. This was a stark contrast to the efforts of the Warriors, whose offensive touch obviously didn't clear customs.

Carter turned a close game into a cruise by scoring 20 points in the third quarter last night, leading the Toronto Raptors to a 109-92 victory against cold-shooting Golden State at Air Canada Centre. Finishing with a game-high 39 points -- along with 10 rebounds and six assists -- Carter made his first six field-goal tries in the third period. Five of his baskets in the third were from three-point land.

"He was spectacular," said Warriors coach Dave Cowens. "When he got it going, he was very good. Players get into that zone, everything they touch, they do it at the right time. They get perfect. It's a nice place to be."
