Doug Christie, after entering the season saying he wanted to be more proficient from the perimeter, is at just 35.4 percent through the first five games, a decline from the 39.5 percent that was disappointing for his first Kings run.

Christie is not overly concerned, and neither is the team since his biggest contribution to the 4-1 start is defense, a factor that becomes critical tonight against superstar Tracy McGrady and the Orlando Magic at TD Waterhouse Centre.
