MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- If you were casting a movie with Warriors coach Dave Cowens on Monday night, you'd have given him the supporting role of "bad cop." Or you could have made him the leading man in a remake of "The Jerk."

Cowens showed his impatient and intolerant side in the Warriors' 86-79 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at the Pyramid. Cowens made it apparent early he wasn't messing around, even if the opponent was the Grizzlies, who are 0-7 and still have yet to win a game in Memphis after moving here from Vancouver.
