On the game's most crucial possessions Friday, the best clutch shooter in Indiana Pacers history was noticeably absent.

The Pacers had shots to defeat Minnesota at the end of regulation and the end of the first overtime. Jamaal Tinsley and Jalen Rose took them, respectively, while Reggie Miller watched.

Miller wanted no part of any controversy afterward.

"We lost the game," he said with finality when asked about the play calls.

Miller took 15 field-goal attempts in the game, matching his high for the season. He hit just five but did make crucial 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and in the first overtime.
