Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports: Eagerly anticipating his Friday return to Miami as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, former Heat guard Tim Hardaway said Saturday he has lost some respect for Pat Riley, predicted Riley would never win another championship, and said players no longer want to play for him.

Hardaway joins Anthony Mason, Ricky Davis, Jamal Mashburn and Voshon Lenard as ex-Heat players to criticize the Heat's coach. But Hardaway's remarks are the most stinging.

``I deserved more and deserved to end my career there,'' Hardaway said. ``I put my heart and soul and guts into that team. I wasn't dealt with fairly. I've got respect for Riley in the sense of him being a good coach, but not as much respect in how he treated me in negotiations. That was very unfair.

``I don't see Riley winning a championship again. It's going to be hard because he's not going to have the same type of guys he wants. Guys 10 years ago would want to be in that philosophy. Now a lot of people have heard things, and guys don't want to play there. And he's not capable of changing.
