SEATTLE -- Even before the Indiana Pacers headed west Saturday, coach Isiah Thomas considered his team's early-season schedule unkind.

The Pacers (8-7) had played a league-high 15 games -- six more than the Central Division-leading Milwaukee -- after Friday's home loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
