The Raptors weren't just bad, they were record-breaking bad.

Playing sloppy and sluggish basketball for the third game in a row, the Raptors finally got burned yesterday, getting pummelled 85-69 by the Boston Celtics before an audibly displeased crowd of 19,800 at the Air Canada Centre.

The Raptors scored only 25 points in the second half, a franchise low for points in a half. They scored only nine points in the fourth quarter, a franchise low for points in a fourth quarter.

Raptors guard Vince Carter was asked if he ever has played on a team that scored only nine points in a quarter.

"Probably rec-league," Carter muttered.
