When it pains, it pours. At least, that's the Houston version of that old saw.
After losing Steve Francis because ruptured plantar fascia in his left foot, the Rockets have now lost Glen Rice, who has severe tendinitis in his right knee, for two weeks.
With the Rockets mired in an eight-game losing streak (and losses in 12 of their last 14 games), the last thing in the world they can afford is another injury. But here they are, attempting to stanch the flow of losses with backups like Oscar Torres, Moochie Norris and Walt Williams.
