Pistons forward Jerry Stackhouse has faced an indelicate series of questions every day for the past few weeks.
Stack, how's the groin injury today?
He suffered a strain in his left groin area during a road game against Philadelphia on Nov. 21. He has struggled with the injury ever since, missing four games and leading him to evaluate how he feels before every game and practice.
So, will Stackhouse play against the Knicks tonight?
"It's going to be a game-time decision, but I am leaning towards it," Stackhouse said after Wednesday's practice. "I had a pretty good practice (Wednesday).
"It (the strain) feels all right, just something I think I will have to be dealing with for a while. I think is a huge game (today). Last game before we go out on the road. (I'm) looking forward to hopefully giving it a shot."
Stackhouse practiced Wednesday, shooting and doing some light running.
"Jerry did a lot of stuff (Wednesday), and we'll see how it goes (today)," Pistons Coach Rick Carlisle said.
