Mark Cuban went into more detail about the staff he's hired to monitor referees' performance in an article by Kevin Lyons of the Dallas Star-Telegram.  Cuban has had a team of former players, coaches and referees tracking every calls in every Maverick game.  Cuban's target is Ed Rush, the NBA's Director of Officiating.  Cuban is upset with the inconsistency between refs in the way games are called and wants to minimize the referee's prerogative.  He'd also like a third party to come and do a formal evaluation.
