Bill Cartwright has his Chicago Bulls on a roll, earning their first winning streak of the season at 2 games.  Players are playing with intensity, diving for loose balls and standing for the charge, and actually are playing with unity as evidenced by Charles Oakley coming off the Bulls bench to help up Marcus Fizer after Fizer was laid standing his ground.

"We have no choice but to get on the floor," Artest said. "What are we, like 6-and-100? We can't play pretty. We can't let those balls go or else we'll be 6-101. We have to play hard."

Other players pin the sudden change in success on Cartwright's shoulders, saying his winning background and championship experience are rubbing off on the players.

"Guys are playing extremely hard because [Cartwright] was here for championships," Fizer said. "He's a guy who's been through it and knows what we have to do to win."

And with Cartwright now at the helm, could Charles Oakley be with the Bulls beyond this season?  Oakley said he no longer feels as though he is in prison, and is discounting the possibility of returning to the Bulls next season as a free agent, or even in some other role.
