Both Orlando coach Doc Rivers and Washington coach Doug Collins have declared that they think New Jersey's Jason Kidd should be the MVP of the league this season.  But Rivers is also the first to admit that Kidd probably will not end up with the award because of a 'flaw' in his game, he passes the ball before looking for his shot.

Pass or shoot, pass or shoot.  It has been the age-long question of which type of point guard is better for a team.  While Phoenix is still in nice shape with Stephon Marbury at the helm, his successor in New Jersey has completely turned the franchise around.

"Before the season, we all said it will be an interesting case study on what's more important to a team, a point guard who runs the show, runs the team, gets everyone involved or a point guard who gets his own," said Rivers.  "That argument has been around for a long time: KJ [Kevin Johnson] or John Stockton? I think it's been answered here, and I don't think there's a question about it."
