Ohm Youngmisuk of the New York Post says that the Nets are looking for a back-up point guard. During Wednesday's 92-74 win over the Grizzlies, the Nets were plus-32 with Kidd on the floor but minus-14 without him.
Ohm notes that several players bring the ball up court when Kidd is sitting, but none are doing it well. Back-up Derek Dial isn't getting the job done.
With teams able to start 10-day contracts, the Nets may look at players like Sean Colson, former Net Doug Overton and former Atlanta Hawk Anthony Johnson. Not exactly names that have you quaking in your boots.
