Atlanta Hawks coach Lon Kruger sounded like someone reading a grocery list as he rattled off reasons the Timberwolves are one of the NBA's premier teams.

"They can rebound. They have a lot of scorers. They play defense. And they have Kevin Garnett," Kruger said. "There's no mystery. They are one of the better teams in the league."

The Wolves relied on all of those factors to defeat Kruger's Hawks 112-96 on Saturday, earning their fourth consecutive victory and a day off Sunday. They will play Detroit tonight at Target Center.

The Wolves outrebounded Atlanta 56-34, had six players score in double figures and held Hawks energetic guard Jason Terry to only one point in the fourth quarter.

And Garnett was, well, Garnett, finishing with 22 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.

"He is a tremendous player for them every night," Kruger said.
