He is averaging 20 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals in his last three games, but Chicago Bulls forward Ron Artest isn't worried.  What worried him was not being able to show off the rapid improvement in his game from long workouts with Michael Jordan in the summer, workouts which saw his offensive game and court sense flourish.

He certainly is showing it now, and many are taking notice.  One night there is Michael Jordan giving praise to Artest's defensive prowess, and the next night Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan gives recognition to his offensive game.

"He plays hard," Sloan said. "He's improved tremendously. He's able to beat you off the dribble. At small forward they can post him up. They've got a lot of flexibility with him."

But where Artest has truly improved, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, is in his timing and his decision making.  No longer does he stand around dribbling or holding the the ball, Artest now moves the ball around knowing that he'll get it back.  Renown for a three point shooter in college, Artest's new found patience is paying off, as evidenced by his 52.6 percent on three-pointers.
