Monday, January 07, 2002 - Coach Mike Evans was busy during Sunday's practice putting in a two-minute offense for the Denver Nuggets.

Evans and the Nuggets aren't turning to football. But the Nuggets can't afford to go scoreless again in the last two minutes of a game. In their past two games at the Pepsi Center, the Nuggets had the lead going into the final minutes, but lost 87-86 to the Los Angeles Lakers and 82-80 to the Los Angeles Clippers.

"We're just covering our options," Evans said. "You know the defense is going to take something away from you in crucial situations. You have to be aware of the options you have."
