Reserve Felipe Lopez has a shown he has a pretty good handle on the ball, and on his newest role with the Timberwolves.
Continuing what is becoming a Wolves tradition of playing multiple positions in order to play multiple minutes, Lopez, a shooting guard/small forward, has played at backup point guard during Minnesota's past three victories.
He's been pretty successful, considering he hasn't played point guard since high school.
All of a sudden, Lopez is giving Wolves forward Kevin Garnett a run at team MVP -- at least the way teammate Gary Trent defines MVP:
"It's not most valuable player, it's most versatile player," said Trent. "The more interchangeable you are, the more value you have to your team and as an individual. If all you can play is one position, you're limited."
