It's always like this, a veritable basketball prom, when the Los Angeles Lakers come to town. Everybody wants to be in attendance, and darn-near everyone comes with a date.

That's the kind of aura the Lakers create. The whole town is abuzz.

 




You would think that would also be enough to motivate the Pacers, playing against the world champions in a playoff atmosphere and all.
