The Timberwolves can't get one of their games televised on TNT and haven't, despite their 28-9 record, captured the basketball world's attention.

But they have won nine consecutive games and are challenging the Los Angeles Lakers for the Western Conference's best record and  whilst Kevin Garnett is feeling pretty good about that, Flip Saunders has mixed feelings.  You see if the Wolves do end end up with the leagues best record he will be coaching the West All-Star team, his comments on that where that he would rather watch his son play two basketball games during that weekend. Plus, he said he would rather not have to decide who sits and who plays among 12 all-stars.

"That's why guys don't want to coach it: You don't want to get any of those guys mad at you for the second half of the season," he said.

The Minnesota Timberwolves also got some help from Joe Smith in their most recent win against the Clippers who has returned from injury.
