It wasn't a game Todd MacCulloch was particularly proud of.
Neither were the rest of his New Jersey Nets teammates, who came out on the losing end of an 89-77 decision against the Raptors last night.
The loss snapped a six-game win streak for the front-running Nets, who last night looked as if they left their high-tempo, high-percentage shooting game at the border.
"The game was winnable, we kept hanging around," said MacCulloch, a native of Winnipeg. "But we weren't shooting the ball well and couldn't get the defensive stops, couldn't get the big rebound, couldn't get the fast breaks or the big three."
Nets coach Byron Scott didn't have a lot of positive things to say about his club.
"(The loss) is a lot more disappointing because I know what we're capable of and we were nowhere near that tonight," Scott said. "We rely on movement and we stood around a lot. That's not how we play."
