Wednesday, January 23, 2002 - LOS ANGELES - After a disappointing 102-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers late Monday night, the Denver Nuggets had a lengthy team meeting. Nuggets interim coach Mike Evans didn't talk about the details of the meeting but said it had a positive effect on the team.
"Everything that needed to be said was said," Evans said. "It was air cleaning. We just had to clean the air, and I thought it needed to be said. I thought the players had valid points. It was a family deal. That's what a real family is supposed to do. Everybody shared their emotions and their feelings. I think it was good."
