"It's tough when you lose those close games like we've been losing the last couple of weeks," said the Rockets' Steve Francis. "Regardless of who's in the lineup, we tend to lose late in the game.

"That's something that we thought we were over, but sometimes it just comes back to haunt us. We can't make big shots when it really counts, and that's something that's hurting us late in the game."

Mobley, who made three of five 3-point tries against Dallas, just shook his head at that last miss.

"It was 104-102, and I had the ball at the top of the key. I was open, but I missed," said Mobley, who finished with a game-high 35 points. "Then Steve Nash comes down and shoots over Eddie Griffin, who is 6-11, and he makes it. You know what I mean? It was luck right there."
