Indiana Pacers forward Al Harrington underwent successful surgery Friday morning to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, the team announced in a press release.
"I was very pleased with the result of the surgery," said Pacers team doctor Sanford Kunkel in a written statement from the team. "We reconstructed his ACL and repaired cartilage damage. We expect Al to make a full recovery."
The 90-minute procedure was performed by Dr. Kunkel at Ortho Indy Surgery Center.
