Friday, January 25, 2002 - The Denver Nuggets might be on the verge of not having a player participate in any of the NBA All-Star Game's activities for the first time since 1991.
Point guard Nick Van Exel, who could be selected as a reserve, might have the best chance to be included in the weekend's festivities.
"There are going to be some pretty good players who don't make it," Nuggets coach Mike Evans said. "There's going to be a sad list, and we're one of the teams on that list. This year, we got off to a slow start due to injuries. That hurt Nick."
