Beating Seattle would have been a difficult enough challenge for the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

Beating Seattle while beating themselves was far too great a burden.

 




Squandering a five-point lead, the Pacers played out a familiar theme with a fourth-quarter collapse that left them with a 95-86 defeat at Conseco Fieldhouse.

It was the seventh loss in their past nine games, and the fifth of their past seven at home. It also dropped them back to the familiar territory of a .500 record.
