DENVER ? Injuries may have spelled doom for the Denver Nuggets' hopes for a winning season, but they spelled something else for several of the team's players:

Opportunity.

While Antonio McDyess, Tariq Abdul-Wahad, George McCloud and Scott Williams were sidelined for all, or a large portion, of this month, some bench players took full advantage of the situation by having the games of their NBA careers, or at least their best efforts of the season.
