Tuesday, February 05, 2002 - Avery Johnson made a jump shot with 40.7 seconds remaining in Game 5 of the 1999 NBA Finals that clinched the championship for the San Antonio Spurs over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
But as big as Johnson's shot was, he says it doesn't compare with what he saw Sunday while attending Super Bowl XXXVI in his hometown of New Orleans at the Superdome.
While rooting for the St. Louis Rams, Johnson got a good view of New England Patriots kicker Adam Vinatieri making a 48-yard game-winning field goal as time ran out.
